kudos to coach mcallister for building a program where there was none. However, this article has nothing to do with playing faster on the field . Its a fluff piece. P90 X is a bastardization of plyometric training ,( purely neurological with max rest to ensure quality reps) turned into an aerobic cardio workout or high volume training. Running constantly when you get on the football field turns a sport with 5 seconds of alactic activity and 30 seconds rest or more in between into a cross country workout. No slight on coach M, accolades well deserved and quality guy, but a very poor representation of how to get fast for friday. flies in the face of everything Tony Holler teaches. I would change the title to ” building a program with leadership and inspiration.”

Congrats to coach Mcallister on well deserved honors, building a program when there was none. However , the video provided no insights into getting players to play fast on gameday. It is a fluff piece that should be in leadership/ inspirational department. P90X?? thats a bastardization of plyometric training( neurological excersize with max rest and quality reps ) turning it into a cardio workout with low qualilty reps. And running constantly on the field during practice does the same, turns a high speed alactic sport into a cross country practice. Again no slight on coach and his tremendous accomplishments , but some false advertising to be sure , and flies in the face of everything , as it relates to training , tony holler teaches.

great coach, accolades earned and inspirational. However it says nothing , provides no insights into making football players faster on game day. Crossfit? Its a bastardization of plyometrics.(neurologic workout max rest) and turns it in to a cardio aerobic excersize with low quality and high volume, and to have kids running the entire time ont the field at practice does the same, turns it into a cross country race. I feel like our kids became slower as season wore on, and not froom overtraining but, ran plodding routes in games from plodding routes in walk throughs. the title is misleading and really is a fluff piece and flies in the face of everything coach holler teaches, please put it in the leadership inspirational category.
